Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) matchmakers have been busy filling up the promotion’s Sept. 5, 2026, return to Paris, France (more details here).

While there is no sign that UFC will go ahead and grant Ciryl Gane‘s wish to fight Heavyweight champion, Tom Aspinall, at this year’s UFC Paris event, we now have the skeleton of a solid card, including a Welterweight contest between No. 12-ranked Michael “Venom” Page and unseeded Nursulton Ruziboev.

For the second time in a row, Page is being forced to fight an opponent without ranking, a reoccurring issue for the tricky point striker who spent his pre-UFC career as a headliner for Bellator.

Nevertheless, both Page and Ruziboev have competed at Middleweight before, but the promotion has them fighting at 170 pounds this time. Page’s last fight was a glacial decision win over the similarly-styled Sam Patterson. He’s on a three-fight streak since losing to Ian Machado-Garry back in June 2024. Ruziboev, meanwhile, just won via first round neck crank at UFC Baku, giving him a three-fight streak and improving his UFC record to 5-1.

French fighters Oumar Sy, Michael Aljarouj and Nora Cornolle were also added to the card along with a collection of United Kingdom, European and Brazilian talent. The bouts were released on the official UFC France X (formerly Twitter) account.
