Jake Hager just suffered his first combat sports defeat.

The former WWE professional wrestling champion better known as Jack Swagger definitely lost matches in the wrestling ring, and he came up short while establishing himself as a very successful high school and collegiate wrestler as well. None of those defeats involved getting hit in the face until unconscious, however, which is precisely how his second Power Slap matchup ended last night (Fri., July 10, 2026) at Power Slap 21 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

His opponent,  Amanpreet Singh, finished the match with a thunderous connection that forcefully sat down Hager. Check out the clip of the third-round finish below:

Three months ago, Hager picked up a big KO of his own in his Power Slap debut (watch it here) as part of his six-fight deal with the promotion. Prior to getting into slap fighting, Hager put together an undefeated record in Bellator MMA as well, but the 44-year-old opted to retire in 2023 because “Bellator was jerking me off.“
