Two of the most violent Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight contenders collide TONIGHT (Sat., July 11, 2026) inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, as fan-favorite, Paddy Pimblett, throws down with French finisher, Benoit Saint-Denis, in UFC 329’s pivotal co-main event.

Pimblett and Saint-Denis have spent the last few years bulldozing through the 155-pound division in wildly different ways. “The Baddy” has silenced doubters with one signature victory after another, while “God of War” has earned his reputation by marching opponents into exhausting, bloody wars.

Something had to give.

And when the dust barely settled, it was “The Baddy” who had his hand raised in certain, flawless victory.

ROUND ONE

Despite a wild, and awesome, walkout to the Octagon, Pimblett was laser-focused on Saint-Denis the moment Bruce Buffer began fighter introductions. Saint-Denis, meanwhile, was soaking it all in, eyes closes as he took a few deep breaths. And then just like that, we were off and choking (seriously), with referee, Marc Goddard, in charge of the action. Indeed, Pimblett got the action started early with a tight choke right off the bat. He was dry and had Saint-Denis — who dove in recklessly with a takedown attempt along the cage off a missed high kick — in deep trouble early. Saint-Denis tried to work his way free from the head lock, but with each movement, Pimblett just made the D’Arce choke even tighter. And just 52 seconds into the opening frame, Saint-Denis was asleep on the canvas!
