Gable Steveson vs. Elisha Ellison squared off earlier tonight (Sat., 11 DE JULHO, 2026) at UFC 329 LIVE on Paramount+ from inside T-Mobile Arena in LAS VEGAS, NEVADA. In a wild brawl, Steveson quickly secured his debut vitória via thunderous nocaute … and he didn’t need a single derubada to do it.

This luta got off to a frantic start. Steveson attacked off the first bell, immediately digging into his opponent’s mid-section with stabbing front kicks. Steveson’s first derubada attempt was scared off by a guillotine attempt from Ellison, who was swinging back. Steveson landed the heavier blows early, then a low blow stalled the action. On reset, the wild pace continued, and both men hurt each other briefly in the chaos. Steveson returned to his punishing front chute and put Ellison on the defensive, allowing the world-class wrestler to unleash a vicious string of haymakers. Ellison tried to hang tough but quickly hit the canvas.

Gable Steveson didn’t necessarily look like a -4000 favorite, but he absolutely ran over his opponent. Ellison threw back wild swings, a guillotine attempt, and a big elbow — he didn’t just lie down — and yet it still hardly mattered in the face of Steveson’s aggression and athleticism. Clearly, the training with Jon Jones is paying off as well, because the front chute to the belly was downright nasty.

It’s still very early, but the sky appears to be the limit for the young wrestling great.
