Paddy Pimblett vs. Benoit Saint-Denis squared off earlier tonight (Sat., July 11, 2026) at UFC 329 LIVE on Paramount+ from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. In an outrageous win, Pimblett strangled Saint-Denis in the opening minute.

Saint-Denis rushed forward into a wild exchange right away then dove into a double leg takedown attempt. Pimblett immediately answered with a guillotine threat that reversed “BSD” to the canvas. As Saint-Denis tried to scramble to his knees, Pimblett adjusted to the d’arce choke and then an anaconda. Saint-Denis tried to sprawl his chest flat to prevent the strangle, but Pimblett pulled guard with the anaconda, Charles Oliveira-style.

Saint-Denis spun on the floor desperately but couldn’t relieve the pressure. Just seconds later, he was asleep!

That’s the best win of Paddy Pimblett’s career, and it isn’t close! He came in perfectly equipped to answer Saint-Denis’ takedown attempt, immediately putting the French athlete in a terrible position. Once he reversed his way into top position, Pimblett was in complete control and very calmly executed a high-level submission on an excellent grappler.

Credit to “The Baddy,” he’s back in the title mix. Is it time to run the Ilia Topuria grudge match?
