What is the graduation certificate
It's the document issued by BJJLF that officially recognizes your Jiu-Jitsu belt, with graduation date, responsible instructor and federated status. Unlike a paper diploma tucked in a drawer, the certificate is digital, verifiable anytime and linked to a public profile.

Each certificate brings a unique QR code. When scanned, it opens the athlete's public profile with belt, academy and federation status — instant validation, no phone calls or emails.

Why the certificate matters
In Jiu-Jitsu, the belt is a link in a lineage — it connects you to your instructor, to his instructor, and so on, up to the great masters of the art. For a long time, this graduation was worth only by word of mouth: there was no document proving who graduated whom, nor when. With the expansion of the sport, this opened space for dubious graduations and belts without foundation.
The BJJLF certificate solves this problem. It officially registers your belt, with date and responsible teacher, and is signed by a federation led by masters of the highest graduation. What the federation analyzes
The current belt color is always required, along with the date you were promoted to it and the name of the responsible instructor or master. This data set is what the federation team analyzes before approving the certificate.
And the degrees (stripes)?
Degrees within a belt can be recognized by graduation time, following the average of each belt — without requiring extra bureaucracy beyond what was already reported in registration.
