Mission
Editorial mission
The editorial team of BJJLF exists to keep the Jiu-Jitsu community informed with precision, credibility and respect for original sources. We do not replace the work of specialized outlets and journalists — we organize and give context to what has already been reported by them.
Our commitment is to factual accuracy, proper credit attribution and transparency on how each article reaches the reader.
Our principles
The values that guide the writing
Accuracy
We prioritize correct information over fast information. When in doubt, we prefer to wait for confirmation rather than publish inaccurate data.
Credit to source
All third-party articles are attributed to the outlet that reported them, with a link to the original. We don't appropriate the work of those who reported it first.
Independence
News coverage is separate from the federation's commercial interests. News is news; advertising is clearly identified as such.
Respect for the community
We cover Jiu-Jitsu with the respect that athletes, instructors and academies deserve — without sensationalism and without undue exposure.
Process
How news is produced
The news content published here is born from curation: we follow specialized and reliable sources of Jiu-Jitsu and bring readers a summary of what was found by them.
Every republished or summarized article brings credit to the original source and a direct link to the complete article — readers can always check and deepen their knowledge in the coverage of those who reported it first.
We don't fabricate facts, don't attribute invented statements and don't alter the meaning of what was originally reported.
Corrections
Correction standards
Mistakes happen. When we identify or are informed of a factual inaccuracy in published content, it is corrected as soon as possible and the page update date is revised.

Images
Image and rights policy
Images used in articles are, as far as possible, credited to the original source or responsible photographer/outlet. Photos from public profiles of federated athletes and academies are provided by the title holders themselves in registration.
If you identify an image published without proper authorization or credit, contact us by email above stating the page link and the image in question — we will remove or correct the attribution promptly.
