Jiu-Jitsu Federation: July 18, 2026 will be kept in the memory of Felipe Franco. After all, on this date, in addition to taking his first victory in the UFC, on the card based in Oklahoma (USA), the Brazilian returned to the full pocket house. After shining with a triumph via technical knockout over compatriot Levi Rodrigues Jr, ‘Negão’, as he is known, was awarded the ‘Performance of the Night’ bonus and pocketed an extra $100,000.

The announcement was made by the entity itself, after the event was held. Taking his first steps in Ultimate, Felipe Franco did not hide the emotion when he received the news of the bonus (see below or click here). In addition to the Bahian light heavyweight (93 kg), another athlete also won the ‘Performance of the Night’ award: Tommy McMillen, for his impactful triumph over Alberto Montes.

Fight of the Night

In addition to the pair recognized for individual performance, two other competitors lined their pockets together as they competed in the UFC Oklahoma Fight of the Night. And, coincidentally or not, those who stood out the most in the company's vision were the protagonists of the show. Thus, both Dricus du Plessis and Kamaru Usman each received $100,000 for the 25-minute battle — won in the unanimous decision by the South African.

Brazilian on the rise

Who also left the event with extra money in his pocket was Dione Barbosa. The Brazilian received a bonus of US $25,000 (approximately R$127,000) for winning the fast track, finishing Anna Melisano in the first round. The award is part of the new UFC policy, which began to grant additional values to athletes who win their matches by knockout or submission. As a result, the flyweight (57 kg) from Pernambuco, as well as the other athletes who won due to interruption in the event, were rewarded by the above average performances with a financial compensation
