Incredible Women's Flyweight Grand Prix Announced For UFC BJJ 10

Jiu-Jitsu Federation: UFC BJJ will now crown its first women's flyweight champion and is doing things a little differently this time, as it has created a grand prix tournament to determine the champion at UFC BJJ 10 on August 20, 2026. Prior to this, most of its new champions were crowned after a single superfight and only two of them did not win the first season of UFC BJJ: Road To The Title. Instead, the four women competing to become the flyweight champion will have to win two matches on the same night to walk away with the belt.

The first woman competing for the flyweight title is Cassia Moura and she is already a UFC BJJ champion, so a victory here would mean she becomes the first person to hold two of the promotion's titles at the same time. She won her first belt in the bantamweight division at UFC BJJ 8 and while she may be favored in her opening match, she has a very tough opponent in front of her. Moura will face Bre Stikk, a top 10th Planet black belt who will be making her promotion debut, but she has already represented the United States in submission grappling.

The favorite on the other side of the bracket is Adele Fornarino, who will be making her second appearance for the promotion here after defeating an elite opponent at UFC BJJ 7. She also won the under 55kg division at ADCC 2024, so she is undeniably at the top of this weight class. Fornarino's opponent is someone who has been on the rise over the past two years, Caroline Brunacio. Brunacio hasn't been a black belt for very long, but she has already come close to winning a world title, and she won her own promotion debut at UFC BJJ 5.
