Jiu-Jitsu Federation: Among the prominent names in Brazilian Muay Thai, Vinicius Coppolo enters the second half of the season with a set goal. The Rio fighter is preparing for the Brazilian Championship of the Brazilian Confederation of Muay Boran and Muay Thai (CBMB), the official division of the sport at the World Boxing Council (WBC), scheduled for November.

With a cartel of 36 wins and six losses, Coppolo maintained the competitive pace throughout 2026. So far, there have been two presentations. The first ended with a points victory in the Mato Grosso Warriors. He then competed for the Attack Fight belt, but was surpassed in the decision. Despite the stumbling, the athlete believes that the sequence of events until the end of the year will be decisive to reach the main goal of 2026.

The calendar is already mapped. In August, he returns to Mato Grosso Warriors. The following month, he fights in an event in the South of the country. The preparation will end with a full focus on the CBMB Brazilian Championship, a competition that can guarantee qualification for the World Cup.

Regularity in competitions is pointed out by the athlete himself as one of the factors that sustain performance within the ring.

“My main goal is to be a Brazilian champion of CBMB and WBC. I am always active, I never stop training and doing fitness. I need to be ready at all times. Having fights scheduled makes it easy to have rhythm and not lose focus.”

While seeking results in competitions, Coppolo also invests in a personal project. The CT VP Fight is expected to be inaugurated in mid-August, a space that will operate inside the Energy Arena gym, in the Riachuelo neighborhood, in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro. The training center was born with the proposal to bring together athletes at different levels and expand the work that the fighter already develops as a coach.

The routine divided between training, classes and family life requires discipline also outside the mat and the ring. To maintain physical preparation during the season, the athlete emphasizes the importance of support in the area of food supplementation.

“My routine is tight. I have the trainings, I teach, my family, all this to give attention. I always try to organize myself to handle everything. Food is key to the athlete. With the running routine, the partnership with Cumani helps me to have the supplements up to date, which makes it easier to keep the diet organized. I thank Cumani for the support and recognition of my work.”
